How does motivational interviewing work, and what do sessions look like?
Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that helps you explore your own reasons for change. Rather than telling you what you should do, I listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable. Sessions are supportive and focused on building confidence, overcoming barriers, and creating practical steps toward lasting change.
