Hello, I'm Martin Apt, a PMHNP-BC certified Nurse Practitioner. My passion lies in providing top-notch care, focusing on psychiatric healthcare for both adolescents and adults. With 30 years of experience in mental healthcare. I grew up with parents that have mental illness. I started my career as an Army Medic. My life experience along with working in an psychiatric hospital setting, gave me unique experience into mental health.
My strong emphasis on integrative psychiatry, and therapy approaches in addition to medication management will give a solid footing on your road to getting better. My background includes working in various healthcare settings caring for a wide variety of mental illnesses. This diverse experience has equipped me with a tool box of approaches to help with depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma along with a variety of other symptoms.
I thrive in creating positive connections with patients, their families, and healthcare teams. My goal is to make a difference in each patient's life by providing empathetic and personalized care.
