Therapists in Metuchen, NJ

Hello! I’m Hannah Nsiah, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner dedicated to fostering emotional well-being and resilience. With years of experience in mental health, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. My holistic approach integrates diagnosis, evidence-based psychotherapy, and medication management, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I strive to create a safe and collaborative space where clients feel supported and understood. Each session is focused on empowering clients to build coping skills, enhance self-awareness, and foster personal growth. Whether addressing emotional trauma, self-esteem issues, or everyday stressors, my goal is to help clients navigate their mental health journey with confidence and hope. I understand the importance of cultural and individual diversity and respect each person’s unique experiences and perspectives. Mental health challenges can feel overwhelming, but no one has to face them alone. Together, we can work toward achieving balance, happiness, and long-term well-being. My mission is to provide compassionate care while advocating for health equity and access to quality mental health services. Let’s work together to build a foundation of strength, resilience, and hope.

Welcome, I'm glad you're here. You're taking a big step for yourself. My main ways of thinking that I lean towards are: compassion-focused, psychodynamic, attachment styles, and emotion-focused. I've been described by clients as patient, having a positive unconditional regard, and being able to challenge them to help them take steps toward growth. This process isn't always easy. My goal is to create a place where you can feel seen, safe, challenged, and supported, so that we can create lasting change. My approach leans toward being more direct and inquisitive, but with compassion. For releasing emotions, beliefs and trauma from the body I use the somatic and neurological technique of Brainspotting.

Hi! My name is Lindsay and I am the owner of Silver Lining Therapist. I opened my practice because I wanted to be able to focus on what matters …my clients. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most unique and important. Once we establish that, the rest is history. I hope to work with you soon!
