I am a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about helping individuals struggling with anxiety, OCD, depression and bereavement. Continues training and education have allowed me to highly refine my therapeutic skills and empower my clients in managing difficult symptoms and challenging circumstances. I believe in using evidence based methods in helping my clients achieve their therapeutic goals, while feeling emotionally supported, connected, and understood in treatment.
I earned my master’s degree in social work from Rutgers University in 1994, and completed my clinical internships at Trinitas Regional Medical Center and Bayonne Community Mental Health Center. Throughout he years. I have held positions at hospitals and community mental health centers. I began providing treatment in private practices since 2019 at the center I co-own and manage with a highly skilled psychologist.
I am fluent in English and Spanish, and I recognize and tend to multicultural factors in my client's sense of self and wellbeing.
I am a Level 3 Certified in TEAM- CBT Therapist. I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I).
