How do you work with clients with grief?
Grief affects everyone differently, and there is no "right" way to move through loss. I provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients can process difficult emotions such as sadness, anger, guilt, loneliness, or uncertainty at their own pace. Together, we focus on understanding the impact of the loss, developing healthy coping strategies, and finding ways to honor meaningful connections while adjusting to life after loss. When appropriate, treatment may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both to help address symptoms such as depression, anxiety, sleep difficulties, or overwhelming emotional distress.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs. I believe mental health treatment should be accessible, personalized, and focused on helping patients achieve lasting wellness.
What sets my practice apart is accessibility and responsiveness. I offer next-day appointments with no long waitlists, and patients can typically be seen within 24 hours. With availability seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, I make it easier for patients to access care when they need it most.
I take a collaborative approach to treatment, combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion to help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
