Hello! I’m a Resident in Counseling specializing in sex therapy, relational healing, trauma recovery, and couples therapy. I work with individuals and couples navigating intimacy challenges, desire discrepancy, erectile dysfunction, painful sex, communication struggles, and relational trauma. I also support clients exploring LGBTQIA+ identity, ethical non-monogamy, and religious or spiritual trauma, including experiences with purity culture, spiritual abuse, faith-related sexual shame, and religious deconstruction.

I am a clinician of color in NC offering teletherapy to the older adult population. I was born and raised in eastern NC. Life can be hard and feel unmanageable at times, having someone to truly listen and develop a relationship can go a long way towards feeling better. That is why I believe that a therapeutic relationship is such a special relationship. I completed my Master of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Counselor Education and Supervision from National Louis University. I have worked with people who are struggling with substance use, depression, anxiety, life adjustments, chronic illness, and working through sexuality and gender identity concerns. I utilize person-centered therapy, motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you feel better and strive towards achieving your full potential. When we work together I view my clients as the experts and I work with you to create goals that you want to accomplish. We work as partners on your journey that can include working on personal boundaries, feeling more confident, or reducing problematic behaviors or thoughts.
