With 18 years of experience in mindfulness, existential, transpersonal, and somatic approaches, I've provided counseling in diverse settings, including wilderness therapy, drug and alcohol programs, homeless veterans programs, and community mental health. Since 2015, I've specialized in trauma-focused therapy in my private practice.

I'm the sole therapist of my practice, Dahlia Wellness LLC, founded around the belief that true healing and change requires an environment where one is witnessed non-judgmentally for who they really are. I have extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with low self worth, loss of hope, feelings of anxiety, depression, and the short and long impact of traumatic relationships or experiences. Dr. Beaulieu utilizes an integrated approach by providing individualized treatment that is tailored to meet the needs of each client. Dr. Beaulieu obtained her Master of Rehabilitation Counseling degree from Louisiana State University Health Science Center (LSUHSC), and a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation & Disability Studies from Southern University A & M college. She has provided services at for-profit, non-profit, and state vocational rehabilitation agencies working with individuals with disabilities, underserved minorities, and communities who struggled financially and were unable to reach or receive services available to them.

I work with adult clients who feel stuck but still want to build more confidence, more inner peace, and harmonious relationships. I enjoy empowering people to trust in themselves and in their partners. I collaborate best with folks who are smart and creative, spiritual but not necessarily religious. A some have been minorities (e.g., immigrants, LGBTQ+, etc.). Many have been professionals. More have been feminists and progressives. Most have struggled with anxiety and depression. All have proven themselves resilient! I focus on building emotional trust and safety with my clients. I mainly practice Person-Centered Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I find both approaches work very well in teletherapy. I may also incorporate skills-training, such as visualization, meditation, and breath-work. Most clients see improvement within the first eight sessions. In my spare time, I enjoy finding new ways to avoid washing dishes, debating whether to get a doctorate, pining to play TTRPGs, and very occasionally jogging (plodding, really) around my neighborhood, where I live with my beloved wife and our fur-baby--a seventy-pound pit-mix, named Dover.
