Therapist, coach, wife, mom - but most of all, human. As someone with personal experience living with chronic pain and illness, I know what it’s like to feel like you’re trying everything, doing everything right, and seemingly getting nowhere. If you’ve ever been told “your labs are completely normal” or “there’s nothing wrong with you” but you’re in constant pain and discomfort, you’ve come to the right place. My main work is with those who experience hard-to-diagnose health issues and syndromes. Things like gastro-intestinal problems, arthritic pain, back pain and other bodily aches, and genetic disorders are all within my wheelhouse. We work on things like managing stress, building healthier relationships (with romantic partners, friends, and healthcare professionals), and healing childhood emotional wounds. How I show up with clients stems not only from my lived experience but also from my decade of training with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also trained in Year 1 of Somatic Experiencing, which means that I believe trauma lives in the body - not in your thoughts. There is a strong connection between chronic illness / chronic pain and the following emotional struggles: -Perfectionism -Procrastination / lack of motivation -Childhood emotional neglect -Finding it hard to relate to others -Feeling alone/isolated, even within your romantic relationship -Lack of meaning/purpose in life

Hi there! I am dedicated to creating space for healing. As an existential-humanistic therapist, I believe that the search for meaning and purpose is central to our human experience. I approach therapy with a deep respect for each individual's unique journey and the complexity of their inner world. My practice is grounded in the belief that we all have the capacity for self-awareness, growth, and transformation, and that therapy can help us tap into that potential. I work collaboratively with my clients to create a safe and supportive space where they can explore their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. As an existential-humanistic therapist, I prioritize the exploration of the big questions in life: Who am I? What is my purpose? What gives my life meaning? Through this exploration, we can begin to gain insight into our deepest desires and fears, and develop a greater sense of authenticity and connection. I draw upon a range of therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness, experiential therapy, and the interpersonal process, to help clients deepen their self-awareness and increase their capacity for emotional expression. I also emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship, recognizing that the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is a key factor in successful therapy outcomes. If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you with empathy, curiosity, and an open heart, I invite you to reach out and start your journey towards greater self-understanding and fulfillment.
