Hello! I'm Elizabeth Jallah, a dedicated and compassionate healthcare provider in Lithonia, GA. With over fifteen years in the healthcare industry, I am passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. I love working with individuals of all ages and collaborating with a team to meet each patient's unique needs. My journey started as a registered nurse, where I gained extensive experience in acute patient care, particularly in oncology and mental health. Over the years, I've honed my skills in patient advocacy, health and wellness management, and effective communication. I believe in treating symptoms and educating and empowering my patients for better health outcomes. I aim to ensure that all my patients feel heard, supported, and cared for. I take pride in my ability to work seamlessly with other healthcare professionals to develop and manage comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to each patient. From assessing and diagnosing behavioral health disorders to managing both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, I am committed to positively impacting my patients' lives. Whether through case management, family advocacy, or simply offering a listening ear, I am here to support you on your healthcare journey. Thank you for considering me as a partner in your health and wellness. Treatment philosophy: Being a Nurse Practitioner is more than assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing medications for my patients; it is about genuinely bonding with them and understanding their physical and mental health issues. As I continue to develop my skills, I plan to be an active listener, easy to talk to, have an open mind, and be nonjudgemental to each patient. I deeply care about how my patients feel and want to make it possible for them to connect to their abilities to create & enjoy life successfully.

I am a Social Worker and Yoga Instructor. I first became interested in working with mental health when I returned home from Afghanistan while in the Army National Guard. I have seen many friends fall victim to substance abuse, depression, and PTSD. I swore that I would work on being in the position to best help veterans and others who go through difficult situations. Being an addictions counselor and Social Worker is very personal to me. It is my passion. Seeing that I already had a bachelor's in Community Health, I made it my goal to become some kind of practitioner. When I learned about Social Work, I was overwhelmed with the idea of getting my Masters and working towards a license. A few years later, I finally received my Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am proud of my license and it took 5 years of hard work to attain. I have now been working in the mental health and addictions field for roughly 10 years. I first got into counseling in the military. After a few years of working inpatient mental health and substance abuse, I spent some time outpatient. I specialize in addictions but have much experience with people with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have an extra certified credential of being a Certified Trauma Therapy Professional. I also experience helping people dealing with relationships, careers, and other life issues as well. Also, I have experience working with those who have a criminal background. I try to listen and understand your problems and point of view the best I can. Based on this I work with you to develop a plan to help you make improvements. My main focus is to help you make a positive change. I hope to work around you’re needs. It's my hope that I can help support you through whatever it is your going through. Some people just want support, while others want a formal therapy. Just let me know what it is you're looking for. Sometimes people just need to talk to someone or need positive encouragement. I am happy to give this as well. I am here to be a positive person in the lives of people that need more positive people. I like to be able to input Yoga techniques in our session. In my free time, I like being with my family and animals. My family has 2 dogs and 2 cats. I attend Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and Yoga classes a few times a week.

Psychotherapist
Online & In-Person
Growing up with learning disabilities, I had an experience that is all too familiar for the neurodivergent community. Often feeling misunderstood and out of place, I was faced with indifference, ignorance, neglect, gaslighting, shame, and the assumption that I could navigate a world that was not built for me without the support I so badly needed. Lonely, adrift, and struggling to find a sense of belonging, I was cast aside and left to fend for myself. After a series of negative experiences with mental health resources and support, my personal journey led me to a couples therapist in 2014. There, I embarked on a journey of transformation, and I was able to see the profound impact that the right therapy relationship could have on a person. It was then that I was introduced to Gestalt psychotherapy, which I immediately connected with. From there, I set forth on a new journey to study Gestalt psychotherapy at the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy, a post-graduate training program. Pursuing this path, I have continued to experience connectedness, belonging, compassion, the wonder of curiosity, and love itself. Arriving at this place of acceptance and understanding changed everything for me. Understanding that this positive experience is not the norm for members of the neurodivergent community, I decided to dedicate myself to providing that same transformation for others. With this mission, I founded Welcome Home Healing in 2023. Since then, I have had the pleasure of helping many clients embrace their own innate worth, gifts, individuality, and the freedom to shed their masks of shame and self doubt.
