How do you work with clients with addiction?
Dr. Khaleghian is dedicated to treating, educating, and providing addiction resources to individuals and their families/spouses. Often times, patients are struggling with both mental health disorders and their process in addiction recovery, which is also known as co-occurring or co-morbid disorders.
Whether it’s a person’s time to graduate from a recovery program, learning skills to maintain sobriety/ relapse prevention, acquiring harm-reduction techniques, and/or needing assistance finding or transitioning to a treatment facility or sober-living, Dr. Khaleghian is here to help.
She has extensive knowledge and training in these areas. Her research and on-going professional training include exploring proven evidence-based treatment approaches as well as investigating new and emerging treatment modalities to substance use/abuse and treating co-occurring disorders. The process of treating and managing addiction may often be complex and overwhelming for patients.
