What's your experience with clients with anxiety?
As a therapist in private practice, the bulk of my work has been with clients who struggle with anxiety and depression. The thoughts, experiences, and feelings that come with anxiety and depression are palpable and often times when we are struggling through it alone, it can feel like there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Individual therapy is a great tool to address these challenges. In my work with those struggling with anxiety, panic, and depression my client explore the root of their experience as well as learn and practice new ways to cope and respond to their triggers.
Hi, I'm Kalisha Crone and I’m a licensed clinical social worker who is passionate about supporting communities of color and helping all of my clients improve their overall well-being. My life’s journey paired with my education has afforded me countless learning opportunities that have shaped me into the therapist that I am today. I use techniques such as mindfulness, client-centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral interventions to create a safe space for my clients to process, reflect, learn, grow and eventually go forth on their own. I believe in the power of resilience and I understand that in sharing our stories and receiving the validation that we deserve we can heal the hurt and trauma we have carried for far too long.
