Let's face it, adulting is hard! There's only 24 hours in a day, but we're supposed to somehow find time to keep up with work and school, do chores and household responsibilities, maintain a social life, please the family, sleep 8 hours a night, eat healthy, workout, and figure out what we want to do for the rest of our life. You may be struggling to find a balance between all the things on your plate and thinking, how am I supposed to do all of this by myself? Hi, I'm Maddi. I specialize in helping college students, young adults, and teens transition into adulthood with confidence. I'm the therapist that's easy to talk to, with a bubbly personality, and a seemingly endless supply of ideas. My approach to therapy focuses on collaborating with you so we can work together to help you find a balance and figure out this adulting stuff. Through the therapy process you will find clarity, direction, and purpose. I am a believer that no matter where you start, you'll always end up exactly where you're meant to be. So I encourage you to show up to therapy exactly as you are and we can figure out the rest together. During therapy we will talk, laugh, and maybe even cry, as we work together to help you evolve into the best version of yourself. Therapy sessions with me are aimed to make you feel as comfortable as possible. This means you can bring snacks, blankets, or fidgets, you can take breaks if needed, you can wear sweats, slippers, heels, or anything in between, you can put on music, adjust the lighting, diffuse essential oils, and sit on the floor or the couch. I know starting something new can be scary, so if you have questions or are still feeling a bit unsure, let’s talk! Reach out to schedule your free consultation today.

Hi, I'm glad you're here. The choice to start therapy isn't easy, but you are not alone on this journey. We live in a cyclical world where everything ebbs and flows and at some point in our lives, we may feel stuck or face certain challenges. We will encounter obstacles, conflicts, painful transitions, grief and loss or a sense of helplessness. As a result, we may feel alone, disconnected, angry, anxious, misunderstood and confused. In a safe environment of warmth, acceptance and compassion, I will work with you to explore and confront the emotional and interpersonal challenges that are bringing you pain or holding you back. By uncovering the obstacles holding you back, you can learn to make better choices, turn goals into realities, and find a greater sense of peace, purpose and freedom. I am passionate about helping people create and maintain deeper connections, with self and others while on their path to healing. I specialize in working with adults and couples on a wide array of issues, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, divorce, infidelity, trauma, body image, identity and self-esteem.  While I incorporate a variety of modalities into my work, both traditional and modern neuroscience and evidence-based, I practice through a holistic lens and a mindful perspective integrating the mind, body and spirit connection.  I received my Master degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA. In addition, I received extensive training on mindfulness, cultural competency, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and am currently in process of obtaining a Clinical Trauma Professional Certification.
