What's your experience with emotionally focused therapy?
Research indicates that Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is one of the only couples therapy approaches that has long-term, lasting positive effects. In our sessions, you will find out why. After completing several trainings in EFT, and obtaining hundreds of hours of one-on-one supervision and instruction from EFT trainers/supervisors known across the world, my passion for EFT remains strong. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of witnessing profound changes in even the most painful relationships. I have witnessed relationships plagued with disconnection and betrayal transform into deeply intimate connections filled with trust. I have watched couples heal even the deepest of wounds, such as infidelity, and come out stronger on the other end. Every day, I stand in awe of my clients. I witness our hard work culminating in a renewed sense of hope and trust, and it is my hope that I can witness the same in you. Together, you will build the skills that are at the foundation of every successful relationship.
As an advanced-trained Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT), I specialize in working with couples and individuals who are feeling disconnected, unheard, stuck, and alone. By utilizing only the most effective research-based approaches, I help my couples build the skills necessary to hold one another's pain, and communicate in a way that forges connection, instead of disconnection. Similarly, I support my individuals in navigating their current emotions and hardships, while also processing past experiences in order to free them up for more fulfilling, hopeful, and rewarding lives. Should you choose to work with me, I will offer you the empathy, support, and expertise needed to heal old wounds, repair hurting relationships, and transform life's most difficult battles into opportunities for deep, human connection. I will hold your pain in order to lighten your load and make space for renewed connection and hope. I firmly believe that, together, we will be able to overcome the hardships that bring you into my therapy room.

What's your experience with emotionally focused therapy?
Emotionally Focused Therapy - or EFT - provides incredibly powerful tools for clients to stop the "negative dance" that they have been doing with their partners or family members and really develop the ability to allow their partner to feel heard - and in turn, have their own opinions be heard as well. Together we notice where conversations begin to take a negative slide and practice new skills so that - over time - the relationship can thrive. This applies to whether we are talking about romantic partners or family members.
I have talked with many people who have tried every solution they can think of to bring relief to areas of life that feel stuck. I would love to sit down with you and discover what that has been like for you. Together we can work through the dynamics, emotions, and thoughts that have been the cause of such hurt or difficulty and bring a greater sense of peace and control. My focus is to listen deeply to my clients, bring awareness to their needs, and find a path toward positive change in meeting those needs. Whether I'm working with individuals, couples, or families, I help each person find their voice and understand themselves better. I have a demonstrated track record for increasing insight, deepening emotional awareness, and responding to people with sensitivity and empathy. It is my heartfelt desire to come alongside individuals, couples, and families helping to unlock a variety of life's challenges. ** I offer in-person sessions (with precautions per Los Angeles County guidance). I also offer services by video or phone. **
