I took a somewhat circuitous path from there, working in different fields for nearly a decade before starting to study for my medical degree (M.D.) at Tulane University School of Medicine. I completed a Pediatrics Internship at Tulane University, followed by a narrower focus in General Psychiatry Residency training, also at Tulane.
