You may be tired of feeling stuck in the same cycles, weighed down by anxiety that will not let up, or triggered by memories that intrude when you least expect them. Trauma and complex PTSD often show up in both the body and mind, leaving you feeling on edge, hypervigilant, disconnected, or shut down. You might notice racing thoughts, panic, sleepless nights, or a deep sense of loneliness even when you are surrounded by people. In relationships, you may long for closeness yet feel guarded, or find yourself repeating patterns that leave you hurt and unseen. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. I work with individuals who are navigating trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and relationship struggles. I use EMDR, somatic approaches, and attachment-focused therapy to help you process painful experiences, release what has been stored in the body, and find relief from symptoms that feel overwhelming. Together, we will create space for your nervous system to regulate, so you can move from survival into healing and begin to experience peace and connection again. I also work with couples and those preparing for marriage who want to strengthen their relationship. Whether you are struggling with communication, trust, conflict, or intimacy, or simply want to build a strong foundation before saying “I do,” couples therapy and premarital counseling provide a supportive space to grow together. Relationships shaped by past wounds or stress do not have to stay stuck in old patterns. Healing as a couple is possible, and you can learn to build connection, safety, and understanding with one another. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. This is not about rushing or forcing change, but about honoring your story and creating new ways forward. You deserve to feel safe in your own skin, to experience relationships marked by trust and love, and to find freedom from the pain you have carried. Healing is possible, and you do not have to walk through it alone. Christian counseling is available for clients requesting it. Contact me for your your free, no-obligation 15-minute video consultation today.

Welcome! I am a Filipina-Peruvian board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor, and I specialize in intergenerational trauma and understanding how trauma and stress affect the body. To better understand what your body is signaling, I integrate modalities in my practice such as mindfulness-based therapy, somatic techniques, and trauma-conscious approaches. This is an impactful approach to better understanding big and uncomfortable emotions, what the body is communicating, and those teeny, tiny voices of intuition telling us something is off. My goal is to help you begin the process of understanding and connecting with yourself on a deeper level. We’ll work on building trust between your head and heart and explore all the things about your life - cultural identity, relationships, behaviors, values, feelings, and belief systems. Together, we’ll create a foundation that empowers you to feel more integrated and aligned. Specialties Mental Health Conditions treated Relationship issues Trauma Anxiety ADHD Depression Treatment philosophy Whether you may be experiencing BIG feelings, interpersonal struggles, or wanting to better understand yourself, I am here to support you using a collaborative approach. Through a guided process and integration of mindfulness-based and trauma-conscious approaches, you and I will talk through your lived experiences. Some of these discussions will give you a sense of joy, sadness, frustration, anxiousness, pride, and excitement. As we dig and uncover these stories in a safe space, we often begin a discovery of your strengths and wisdom - from a present you and intergenerational standpoint. This experience is almost like when your body constricts and caves into a discomfort and, once ready to release, it expands and grows. Treatment approach Culturally Sensitive Trauma-Focused Emotionally Focused Mindfulness-Based(MBCT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) Practice description As we get curious about your goals, your story, your values, and your beliefs systems, we process through patterns about how you have survived & protected yourself up until this point and how these patterns affect you and your relationships (familial, platonic, and/or romantic) - looking within ourselves and connecting it to finding our space and belonging in the collective. Throughout this journey, my role is to support you in feeling safe, in a space that prioritizes inclusivity, open-mindedness, and authenticity. Hello!  I am a recent (May 2019) graduate of the Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas A&M University-Central Texas. I graduated from the same school in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.  I specialized in child and adolescents throughout my school career.  For my internship, I completed hours at Cedar Crest Hospital and RTC, working with children, adolescents, and adults.  Upon graduation I got a full time job at the same hospital on the adult unit.  I became adept at working with those with schizophrenia, Bipolar, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and Borderline Personality Disorder.  I also am very experienced and knowledgeable at working with those with ADHD, autism, and various learning and developmental delays. I enjoy using a person centered approach that focuses on the person’s strength and ability to manage their daily living through skills taught in therapy.  However, I enjoy research and drawing on many other modalities to provide the treatment that would best benefit the client. I am currently an LPC-Associate/NCC, but I am less than 300 hours away from full licensure. I have experience both with the short term hospital therapy and the more chronic long term therapy aspects, having seen several clients.  I have transitioned to private practice, where I see patients both in person and via telehealth. I currently cannot accept insurance because I do not have my full license yet, but I do accept cash payment.
