How do you work with clients with ADHD?
I take a comprehensive and individualized approach to ADHD treatment, recognizing that symptoms can affect work, school, relationships, organization, motivation, and self-esteem. Treatment begins with a thorough evaluation to understand each client's unique challenges and strengths. Depending on individual needs, care may include medication management, education about ADHD, practical strategies for improving focus and organization, and support for co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, or stress. My goal is to help clients better understand how their minds work, build effective coping skills, and achieve greater success and confidence in their daily lives.
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's unique needs. I believe mental health treatment should be accessible, personalized, and focused on helping patients achieve lasting wellness. What sets my practice apart is accessibility and responsiveness. I offer next-day appointments with no long waitlists, and patients can typically be seen within 24 hours. With availability seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, I make it easier for patients to access care when they need it most. I take a collaborative approach to treatment, combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion to help patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

How do you work with clients with ADHD?
Amidst the tangle of thoughts that coincide with ADHD, anxiety, and depression, maintaining focus can become a Herculean task. Our approach is directed towards finding the right medication to enhance neural communication, making daily tasks less daunting and life less chaotic. To counteract scattered focus, we employ a plethora of techniques and therapies. These include cognitive-behavioral therapy, psycho-education, time-management coaching, and tailored medication plans for enhancing neuronal communication. While we currently don’t prescribe stimulants, we leverage a variety of other medications to improve focus and cognition. Our prescribers work with you to develop a personalized medication plan to optimize neurologic communication and smooth your path to enhanced focus.
