I believe your life is a book, and while the early chapters may be heavy, they do not define your whole story. You have the power to write what happens next. My Approach I view your life as a narrative shaped by everything you’ve carried—trauma, grief, and joy alike. While what you’ve been through matters deeply, it is not your identity. I offer a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to help you navigate your most difficult moments. In our work together, therapy becomes a safe space to explore how your past shows up in your present, especially within your relationships. By blending evidence-based tools with real talk, we’ll dive into the connection between your mind, body, and emotions to understand exactly where you feel stuck. My goal is to help you move from a place of surviving your history to intentionally authoring your future. How We’ll Work Together Healing is a journey of self-discovery—uncovering who you are and what you truly need. I hold our time together as sacred, providing a space for you to share both the positives and the negatives. Together, we will: Process Past Wounds: Ensure old traumas no longer dictate your future. Identify Patterns: Pinpoint the unhelpful cycles holding you back from genuine connection. Build Your Toolkit: Develop the skills to communicate needs and set healthy boundaries. Live Intentionally: Gain the courage to take deliberate steps toward a life of wholeness. My Commitment to You I provide compassionate and honest therapy for adults who want to change habits and perspectives that have been holding them back. I am here to empower you to truly know yourself, identify your needs, and gain the tools to express them. Your story is still being written. Let's make the next chapter your best one yet.

I have a passion for supporting individuals by encouraging changes, healing, and empowerment. I have had the fantastic opportunity to practice as a mental health therapist and share my expertise by delivering educational services in Palm Beach County for over six years. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from South University, and I currently hold a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I am currently completing an EdD with an emphasis in Behavioral Health at Grand Canyon University. I have experience working with children and families, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups. My approaches to therapy are client-centered, solution-focused, humanistic, and strengths-based. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, domestic violence, promoting maternal mental health during pregnancy, cultural bias, racial equity, child abuse and neglect, Motivational Interviewing, Brazelton Touchpoints, Infant Mental Health Levels 1 & 2, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR trained therapist), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and I am dialectical behavior therapy informed.  I have experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, and co-occurring disorders. I have also worked with clients dealing with single parenthood, partner relational conflict, childhood and generational trauma, grief, and loss issues. I specialize in child-parent/family issues and domestic abuse (intimate partner violence).  I believe that it is essential to treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. As a nation, we must work towards reducing the stigma around mental health and mental illness so that we can begin to break generational trauma.

Perinatal & Postpartum Mental Health: I offer expert support for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum depression, and the complex "fourth trimester" transition. Anxiety & Burnout: I help clients manage the cycle of worry and rumination, particularly those in high-stress medical and professional fields. Parenting & Attachment: As a provider experienced in the Circle of Security® Parenting™ program, I help parents build stronger emotional connections and manage the stress of early parenthood. Life Transitions: Whether you are dealing with career changes, relocation, or relationship shifts, I provide a structured, validating space to process these changes and align your actions with your core values. A Supportive Partnership I believe that therapy should be an interactive and collaborative journey. My goal is to create a non-judgmental environment where we can explore your emotions and identify actionable strategies to improve your daily life. By focusing on self-compassion and mindfulness, we work together to "fill your emotional cup" so you can live a life that feels authentic and balanced.
