"Hello! I’m Dortisha Hamilton, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) based in Ohio. With nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare field, my journey began as a Nursing Assistant in 2005. Over the years, I’ve grown through various roles—from Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse, and now as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. I’ve dedicated my career to providing compassionate mental health care. Currently, I work remotely with Headway, where I offer psychiatric evaluations, mental health diagnostics, medication management, and follow-up assessments for individuals, children, and families. Whether in hospitals, crisis centers, or home care settings, my focus has always been on delivering patient-centered care. My experience includes administering psychiatric medications and treatments, as well as providing vital support during mental health crises and substance abuse recovery.
