In our work together, we will take a compassionate approach to exploring life’s obstacles. Through this, we learn how challenges can become valuable opportunities for self-discovery, personal growth, and greater purpose. You will learn how to let go of self-judgment and become curious as you move toward deeper insight, well-being and fulfillment.
To the world you appear to be thriving, but internally you feel anxious, overwhelmed and exhausted by self-doubt. You're tired of questioning everything about yourself. You're ready to stop worrying about what others think of you. You just want to feel good enough and sure about who you are. You want to trust yourself to make your own choices. Most of all, you want to get to the root of your anxiety so that you can feel confident in your ability to face life's challenges. No matter what you're going through, I invite you to join me in a safe space of reflection and support along your journey to becoming your most confident self. I specialize in helping teens and adults to develop the confidence and skills they need to overcome anxiety and self-doubt. I often work with high school students, college students, and ambitious individuals who have a desire to unlock their fullest potential and accomplish meaningful life goals. My goal is for you to recognize and trust your own strengths.

What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
The success of therapy depends very much on "fit," and I make no assumptions about that. Try a session if you think there might be a good fit between us, but do not feel obligated to continue if the chemistry is not there. It may help to know that my approach relies heavily on getting acquainted with and working with the imaginal realm. I rely primarily on "talk therapy," but there may be images arising in our conversation that prompts me to suggest working with a strong image with art materials. I'm known to assign homework of various kinds--so be prepared to work to get the most out of therapy!
Seeking a skilled psychotherapist capable of holding space for virtually any human experience you may have? How about a heart-based approach that leverages expressive healing modalities and cultivates your own imaginative muscles? I am a licensed professional counselor and a registered expressive arts therapist, board-certified in both art therapy and music therapy, with special expertise in the Enneagram personality typing system, Jungian sand tray therapy, dreamwork, human shadow work, career-life planning, teletherapy, improvisation, consciousness studies and integrating experiences from non-ordinary states. I consider myself a generalist, with experience working with diverse individuals of all ages with a myriad of challenges. I am a published author with a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a warm, direct approach informed by archetypal psychology.
