What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
When working with me you will recognize that I am always encouraging you to learn how to trust your voice. I believe that we all have what we need inside of us to heal, however there are times when we just need assistance and support. During the intake process we will talk about your current stressors and the coping strategies you have employed thus far. The most important part of the process is building trust and creating a plan to help you on your journey to achieving your goals.

What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
Typically an intake session is rather formatted, as I have to make sure I get all the information I need to ensure I am the right fit for you. Once we determine you are comfortable moving forward with me as your counselor and I determine I am not practicing outside of my scope, we set up a time and date for reoccurring sessions. In a therapy session with me you can expect it to be driven by you. I start by asking about your week and if there is anything you want to make sure we discuss for the day. If there is anything I want to add to the agenda I will let you know. From there we start where you want to begin. I will facilitate discussion and provide a path for you, stopping when necessary, for further processing. I will let you know when we are getting close to the end of our time together and I will give you a challenge for the next week.

I am here to be someone for you and to help you gain confidence with you are.
