What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
At the core, my approach is client-centered and collaborative. This means that I will help to shape treatment to adapt to your unique needs, and I highly value your voice as an equal partner. During our first session, we’ll talk through what has brought you to therapy, as well as touch on the larger context of your life circumstances. As therapy progresses, we may engage in mindfulness practices to root you back in the present moment and the mind-body connection, explore early attachment relationships or traumas as they relate to current patterns, or help to strengthen a reciprocal relationship with nature through in-office and outdoor Earth-honoring practices. These are just some small examples of our work together. My hope is to help you to remember your innate value and wisdom as a human BEing, and as part of the larger ecosystem to which we all belong.
Hello dear one. Thank you for your curiosity in seeking guidance. While I may not yet know the journey that has brought you here, I’m glad that we are crossing paths. I am an ecotherapist, mindfulness practitioner, and Earth Mama! My work is grounded in humanistic, interpersonal, attachment, mindfulness, motivational, strengths-based, and ecotherapeutic frameworks. I also appreciate philosophical, spiritual, or existential exploration, and creative expression. Blending a warm, person-centered, and gently challenging approach, I will tailor our sessions to fit your needs.
