Online TherapyAccepting New Clients
Hi! I’m Emilee Crowder, a relational, trauma-informed therapist providing online therapy for women in Texas, Arizona, Alaska, Utah & Washington. I work especially well with women navigating people-pleasing, anxiety, attachment wounds, relational trauma & religious trauma. You might find yourself overthinking interactions, worrying that someone is upset with you, struggling to know what you actually want, feeling responsible for other people’s emotions, or noticing the same relationship patterns showing up again & again. My approach to therapy is collaborative, curious & very human. Rather than simply trying to get rid of uncomfortable emotions, we’ll get curious about what they’re telling us, explore where your patterns came from & understand what they may have helped you survive, protect or maintain in the past. From there, we can work toward more self-trust, stronger boundaries & relationships where you don’t have to abandon yourself to stay connected. I’m trained in EMDR through an EMDRIA-approved program & may integrate EMDR when it could help us work with experiences, memories, beliefs or emotional responses that continue to feel stuck. I also bring lived experience to my work with religious trauma & faith transitions. I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served a mission, attended BYU & later left the church. I understand how deeply religion can become intertwined with identity, relationships, belonging & self-trust. You don’t need to show up to therapy knowing exactly what to talk about or how to “do therapy” correctly. We’ll figure it out together.

Welcome! I'm a dedicated healthcare provider with a deep passion for mental health and patient well-being. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington with a GPA of 3.8, following my Associate of Science in Nursing from Tarrant County College. Over the years, I've had the privilege to work in both operative and psychiatric settings. At Medical City Arlington Hospital, I cared for patients undergoing various treatments and ensured they received the best possible care. I also collaborated closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patients' physical and mental health. As a Mental Health Provider at Grow Therapy, I conducted initial psychiatric assessments, managed medications, and worked with patients facing a variety of challenges – from ADHD and Bipolar Disorder to Depression and Anxiety. My time at the North Texas Behavioral Clinic further enhanced my skills in providing individualized care through psychoeducational sessions and team meetings. My commitment to patient advocacy is unwavering. I actively engage in ensuring safety, providing one-on-one support, and developing tailored treatment plans. I hold certifications in CPR/Basic Life Support and am licensed as an APRN PMHNP in Texas, Arizona, and Washington. I'm deeply invested in continuing education and professional growth, being a proud member of organizations like Sigma Theta Tau International, the International Society of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurses, and the American Nurses Association. Your well-being is my top priority. I'm here to listen, support, and work together with you on your journey to better health. Let's take this step towards a brighter, healthier future together. *Treatment philosophy My focus is on helping you deal with symptoms and building strength to live a life. I aim to guide clients in an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion, helping them explore and resolve ambivalence so they can find their inner motivations for positive change.
