I am an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I am an Army veteran and am passionate about providing trauma therapy for military, veterans, law enforcement officers and first responders. I offer Extended EMDR sessions (not covered by insurance), EMDR Intensives (not covered by insurance) and EMDRIA Consultation for clinicians seeking Certification. I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2016, earning a Master of Science in Professional Counseling. I have worked in a variety of settings from community mental health, crisis response, to group practices.

My life purpose of helping others was confirmed after personal struggles with anxiety and depression. I knew I wanted to help others who are committed to overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, relationship issues, grief, and difficult life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, judgement-free environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to become their ideal self. I use a mixed-methods approach to personalize treatment to the needs of each client. Therapeutic modalities include Person-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, CBT, DBT, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. I assist clients in examining the connection between how their thoughts and feelings directly impact behaviors. I have special interest in teaching mindfulness, cognitive restructuring, emotion regulation, grounding techniques, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness.
