My weight loss journey started as a young girl with my mom attending weekly Weight Watchers meetings. Since that time, I have done Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem, Hilton Head Metabolism Diet, Slimfast, Cabbage Soup diet, starved myself, and on and on. I nearly died taking the Phen-Fen combination of meds years ago after only 1 month. I have done Belviq, Contrave, Qsymia, Saxenda, Roux-En-Y Gastric Bypass and regained my weight. The struggle is real for me too. With years of experience in both in-person and telehealth settings, I've worked with various clinics and healthcare providers to support adults and seniors in their health journeys. At Weekend Health and Achieve Medical Weight Loss Clinic, I focus on providing personalized weight loss plans, prescribing necessary medications, and closely monitoring patients' progress to ensure they meet their goals. I've also had the privilege of teaching the next generation of nurses as a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Austin Peay State University. Guiding students through clinical rotations and sharing my expertise in mental health care has been incredibly rewarding. Previously, I managed ADHD care through telehealth, ensuring that patients received proper medication and care tailored to their needs. My work at Inovalon involved comprehensive health assessments for insurance carriers, ensuring patients received the preventive screenings and treatments they needed.
