Hello! I'm a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in mental health and general medical care. I hold a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CUNY City College. I'm certified in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing and Basic Life Support. I've had the privilege of working in diverse settings, from hospitals to outpatient clinics. My focus has always been on providing top-notch care tailored to each patient's needs. Whether you need help with managing a psychiatric condition, understanding your medications, or learning techniques to reduce anxiety, I'm here for you. I believe in building strong relationships with my patients and their families. I take the time to listen and ensure you're comfortable with your care plan. I'm also passionate about teaching and supporting new nurses and students, helping them grow in their careers. I am a dually Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving adults of all ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, relationship structures, and abilities. My practice as a therapist includes techniques from various modalities including Intersectional Feminist Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Brainspotting, Tholáge Neuropsychotherapy, Psychodrama, Internal Family Systems, and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, in conjunction with a social justice lens. And modalities that I use with partners and couples includes the previous techniques mentioned as well as techniques from Gottman and Emotion-Focused Therapy. I am a Black and Afro-Latina queer cis woman, intersectional feminist, social justice advocate, and a proponent for sex-positivity.

Using my experience as a Woman of Color and my training at the intersection of race and sex, I create a safe space for women to discuss their experiences and get the support they need to create meaning and heal trauma.
