How does motivational interviewing work and how can it help?
Motivational interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication that helps you explore and resolve ambivalence about change. Instead of telling you what to do, I ask open, thoughtful questions that help you clarify your own values, strengths, and motivations. MI is especially helpful when you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or overwhelmed—it supports self-confidence and decision-making without pressure or judgment. Together, we identify small, meaningful steps toward the life you want, at a pace that feels right for you.
