My path to psychology was anything but traditional. I began my academic journey studying English Literature, drawn to the power of stories and the ways people make meaning of their experiences. Later, I worked as a cross-cultural educator in Brazil, where I developed a deeper appreciation for human connection across diverse backgrounds and perspectives. At Aloe Integrative Psychology Group, I strive to create a thoughtful and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a deep respect for each individual's lived experience, helping clients navigate challenges, foster self-understanding, and move toward meaningful and lasting growth.

I am a Clinical Certified Trauma Professional and Somatic Therapist specializing in anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. I graduated with a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work and began her clinical and educational experience as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor that eventually expanded into varying components of relational, emotional and physical health: attachment sources of relationship issues, women’s specific needs, anxiety, depression and something that has lied in the forefront of many decisions and experiences for folks, the expression of undigested experiences and aspects of self (trauma). My passion is helping people gain a deeper sense of who they are and teasing through varying layers within themselves to have clarity and understanding around the conditioning, experiences and belief systems that continue to play out in their lives, how this affects each person and choosing how to move forward. Therapy sessions are designed to be supportive in the present as well as gently getting to the root of what’s happening, expanding beyond the symptoms on the surface, but the deeper experiences, emotions, and patterns that have shaped how you move through life. In working with me, there is a slowing down and listening to what’s really happening underneath the struggle, so you can begin to understand yourself in a fuller, gentler and compassionate way.

Hi, I’m Shawnda Dewberry, LMSW. I offer a warm, supportive space for adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-doubt, trauma, anger, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach blends compassion with practical tools using CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, journaling, and trauma-informed care. Noah Freiburger is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Brain Injury Specialist. He founded Brain Bath with the vision of creating a mental health practice that blends evidence-based care with a human-centered approach. Noah’s clinical experience spans inpatient psychiatry, outpatient care, substance use treatment, and work with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness. This diverse background allows him to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each patient, whether the focus is ADHD, anxiety, depression, or complex psychiatric conditions. In addition to leading Brain Bath, Noah serves as the Medical Director for Mid Michigan Recovery Services (MMRS) and is on staff at Stanford’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. His approach is collaborative, transparent, and rooted in evidence-based practice, with an emphasis on helping patients feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout their mental health journey.
