Hello there! My name is Grace and I am so glad you’re here! I have experience working with adolescents in the school based setting and have experience helping clients address challenges with, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergence, people pleasing, perfectionism, and women’s issues. My therapeutic approach is integrative, pulling from modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, existentialism, and person centered. I love to implement creativity, humour, and authenticity into the therapy space in hopes that it can soften the anxiety and apprehension that many individuals may face when it comes to therapy. I believe in creating a safe space for marginalized identities and employing a social justice and feminist framework. When working with clients, I like to meet them where they are, work collaboratively, and provide them with the support and guidance they need in order to achieve their goals. I look forward to working with you!

As a therapist, I aim to provide a safe and supportive environment to look at the inner workings of yourself and also process the various things that impact your life on an individual and structural level. I’ve worked across levels of care, including IOP and inpatient hospital settings, supporting teens and adults of various backgrounds navigating mental health challenges, trauma, and dual diagnoses. My background in trauma-informed case management with immigrants and refugees and research on women of color at predominantly White institutions shapes my systems-aware, culturally responsive approach in addition to my lived experience.

I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 1989 from New York University. I have experience working with adults and adolescents in school, psychiatric inpatient and outpatient settings. My clinical focus has been predominantly working with women with eating disorders and related issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, self esteem, identity and body image. My general approach is psychodynamic at it’s foundation. Over the course of my career, I have trained in several additional approaches that have also come to inform my work. I have training and experience in Family-Based Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Mindfulness Meditiation. I am a very active, engaged therapist who brings compassion and passion for the work. You will not just hear me asking, “how does that make you feel”. I will be actively providing insights and interpretations to help you to see that which you cannot on your own. Together, as a team, we partner to help you move beyond the “stuckness” that has brought you into therapy.

I help you get to the heart of your inner conflicts with questions like: What are the different parts of your personality? Why do you keep repeating the same patterns over and over? Why do you choose one emotional response over another? If you're experiencing addictive patterns (either to substances or behaviors), I can help you find autonomy even if you feel you're self-sabotaging. I am also adept at addressing men's issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Anyone who is committed to self-reflection will benefit from my non-pathologizing approach to emotional balance. I devote myself to easing a person into knowledge of their cognition, their character, and their life script so that they feel empowered to embrace themselves fully and edit their experience as they please. I have built a system of diagnostics that leads into health, rather than out of "illness." I support you in understanding the purpose of your pain. I know how many mental health appointments simply leave a person feeling that they have one more knot to undo, one more stuck point lingering. I offer you a new view of yourself that is based in holistic wisdom. You'll embrace the realities of your inner life from a place of resourcefulness and present-focused awareness.

Hi, I'm Morgan! As a compassionate clinician with a background in Art Therapy and Counseling, I am dedicated to assisting children, adolescences, and families in resolving internal conflicts and promoting self-confidence.  Art Therapy is a safe way to explore prominent themes of identity, trauma, emotion regulation, and self-esteem. Art therapy interventions that promote creative expression can foster healing and mental well-being. No previous art experience is required as each session is about the process, not the product's quality. My art therapy specialization encourages collaboration, goal-setting, and focusing on individual strengths while acknowledging the challenges you hope to overcome. I specialize in working alongside individuals that have experienced various behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial circumstances. I have experience supporting LGBTQIA+ populations coping with complex trauma, suicidal ideations, and self-injurious behaviors. Individuals of all ages face interpersonal conflicts, and I aim to provide a comforting, warm, and non-judgmental environment promoting insight and self-empowerment.
