I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker ready to help you through challenges you are facing and/or any events in your life that have left you confused, scared, sad or hurt. I offer a mindful, evidence based, trauma-aware perspective with a down-to-earth approach. I use EMDR, ACT and CBT as some of the modalities for treatment. I strive to create safe and non-judgmental space where you can show up and be your authentic self and heal. My goal is to give you tools you can use in your life, way after therapy is over and build on your innate resilience. I am fluent in Spanish & culturally sensitive. I believe in inclusion and respect. Areas of concern I work with are: Trauma, Grief, Anxiety, Sexual Abuse, Depression & Domestic Violence. Accepting self-pay clients. (HSA/FSA cards accepted and can provide a super bill for insurance.)

I believe wholeheartedly in treating all of my clients with respect and empathy. I strive to be an authentic person that listens without judgement and will do my best to give you a new perspective on any problems or issues that stand in your way on your journey to wellness. Additionally, I am a divorced mom of two adult children and I have been through the therapeutic process myself, so I know how hard it can be to make this first step. Does it feel like there’s something wrong with you? Are you overwhelmed with daily life while it seems everyone else is getting along okay? Many people struggle with past trauma, anxiety, or high levels of stress that make it difficult to cope, let alone enjoy life. Often my clients find me when they’re at this point. They’re dealing with PTSD, feel trapped in the past, or have crushing depression and anxiety. I work with those in the LGBTQ+ community and others who need an accepting and supportive therapist. My ideal client is motivated to go on this journey with me.

I prioritize creating a safe space to explore emotions and experiences while helping clients understand their mind-body connection. We'll work on finding strengths, resilience, and creating a life worth living. I believe in empowering clients with coping strategies and self-awareness, which are essential in their journey towards healing and growth.
