How does sex therapy work and how can it help?
Sex therapy provides a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space to talk openly about sex, intimacy, desire, pleasure, and relationship concerns. Sessions may include education, emotional exploration, communication tools, and practical strategies to help you better understand your sexual self and navigate challenges with more confidence.
Sex therapy can help with concerns such as desire differences, difficulty enjoying or being present during sex, sexual functioning challenges, shame, anxiety, kink or BDSM exploration, polyamorous relationship dynamics, and rebuilding intimacy after conflict or disconnection. For couples, it can also support more honest conversations, deeper emotional and physical connection, and a more fulfilling intimate life. Together, we will normalize what you’re experiencing and find a path forward that feels authentic, empowering, and aligned with your needs.
I’m an AASECT-certified sex therapist and licensed psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples navigating concerns related to relationships, sex, and intimacy. Many of the clients I work with are experiencing distress around desire discrepancies, difficulty being present or fully enjoying sex, sexual functioning challenges, or are looking to explore and expand their sexuality—including kink, BDSM, or polyamorous relationship dynamics
While I am highly trained in sex therapy, I also specialize in couples therapy and help couples navigating relationship issues like emotional intimacy, conflict, parenting issues, and affair recovery.
Sessions with me are warm, direct, rich with tangible tools and strategies to help you overcome the challenges you're facing in your relationship. Each session is tailored directly to your needs. Together, we will normalize what's going on and find ways forward so you can start living your most fulfilled, erotic, and passionate life.
