For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I get it. It can be hard to open up, especially to a stranger. It can feel overwhelming at first, but here’s the thing. It feels so nice to know you have a safe space to let out all the thoughts and feelings that you were told to stuff down. You will find relief in expressing any emotion, even anger, with a person who will not judge you. It might take a couple sessions to get there, but once you let down that wall that you were taught to build, you’ll be surprised as to what will flood out. Let’s chat and learn more about how I can help you in your journey!
Maybe you’ve seen the value of caring for your mental health or maybe this is your first big step into therapy. Either way, welcome! You made it! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate located here in the great state of Texas, offering both telehealth and in person appointments at my Cedar Park location.   I utilize a solution-focused, compassionate approach to help clients learn to combat that inner critic that tells us "we aren't good enough." Therapy doesn’t have to be a stiff interaction, therefore I believe sprinkling in some humor helps to build our relationship.  I strive to reply back to potential clients within 24-48 hours. I also offer a brief 10 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit for therapy. Check out my website or send me an email so we can connect today!
