For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
For people hesitant to try therapy, therapy isn’t about being “broken” or needing to be “fixed.” It’s about having a space where you can be fully yourself, without judgment, and get the support you deserve. It's normal to feel unsure or vulnerable about opening up, but therapy is a chance to gain clarity, learn new tools, and explore what’s going on inside with someone who’s there to guide, not judge. Change can be hard, but you don’t have to face it alone. Therapy is simply a place to start, at your own pace.
As a mental health counselor, I am dedicated to supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging moments. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, I specialize in helping those navigating complex family dynamics, significant life transitions, and personal growth. Whether you’re managing stress, anxiety, trauma, or adjusting to major changes like retirement or career shifts, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your emotions, gain insight, and build resilience. Together, we’ll work towards healing and achieving lasting emotional well-being.
