How can you provide care remotely?
My practice is 100% virtual using HIPAA-compliant teletherapy software available on a smart phone, tablet or computer (with internet connectivity). Telehealth is effective and convenient. Working online with a therapist can be ideal for clients to readily receive the support they deserve for wellness due to the following benefits: your ability to choose your own private space where you feel the most comfortable and safe; a potential greater ability to express thoughts and emotions; transportation and travel difficulties are avoided; time constraints are minimized; and there may be a greater opportunity to prepare in advance for therapy sessions. It is important to know that telehealth video appointments are not recorded. Your information is as private and safe as it would be if you were receiving in-person care. I offer telehealth to those residing in: Florida, North Carolina and Rhode Island.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist providing culturally inclusive and empowerment based psychotherapy. I believe it is necessary to attend to the ‘heart’ of the matter when faced with struggles. I utilize relational theories combined with solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and strengths based to help clients discover personal meaning, develop life skills, build resiliency, as well as promote self-care and wellness. I emphasize the interconnectedness of the mind, body and spirit so to promote an empowered sense of wellbeing and life satisfaction. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to see if we’d work well together. Let’s chat today.
