As an addiction therapist, I am passionate about communicating hope, value, and change to individuals who are suffering. I have worked in the field of addiction treatment and recovery since 2015 in a multitude of settings and with various populations. I have worked with individuals, groups, and families who are affected by the disease of addiction. I value empathy, therapeutic alliance, and motivation seeking as my primary modes of operation when engaging with clients. My education background in Philosophy, a Master’s degree in mental health counseling, as well as unique life experiences, give me an uncommon perspective in treatment theory and practice.

I have been practicing therapy for the last 16 years, focusing on LGBTQ related issues.

Maritza Telleria is a mental health counselor licensed in the state of Florida with experience working with individuals, couples and families. She uses an integrative and eclectic approach while creating a comforting and safe space where insight into inner processes can begin to unfold. Maritza will guide you effectively manage anxiety, depression, issues related to trauma, interpersonal relationships, life changes, self-esteem, and other life stressors. 

Heather works with adults and teenage kids to help improve relationships and work through past trauma, hurt, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Heather provides a trusting, non-judgmental environment for her clients to discover what it means for them to reach fulfillment and happiness in their life.  She is currently accepting Aetna, Cigna, Optum, and united Health Care out-of-network, and private pay clients. In her free time she enjoys exercising, playing basketball, spending time with family, and traveling.
