Not interested in weekly sessions? I offer bespoke multi-hour intensives for clients looking for deep work which can lead to transformation. With uninterrupted time, you can dive deep into issues which have been holding you back. There is space to explore, release and move forward - without rushing or stopping early. Common topics women focus on: processing sexual assaults, war experiences, medical trauma, religious trauma, anger, guilt, and phobias. Modalities used: somatic tapping, brainspotting, flash, deep brain reorienting, IFS/Parts work, Schema work. Depending on client interests, in person sessions in Mobile, Alabama may also include using art supplies, exploring symbolism with oracle or tarot cards, incorporating movement with yoga, or going outside to walk in a park or at nearby beaches at the Gulf of Mexico. Many people fly in for therapy and combine it with a vacation. Intensives are a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 7 hours in one or more days. Many people will schedule a 4 hour morning session followed by an afternoon at the beach and repeat that for two or three days. Intensives can be during the weekday or on weekend. We will have one meeting before the intensive to clearly define your goals for the intensive. After the intensive, there will be a short follow up meeting to discuss the results of the intensive. All intensives are private pay. No superbill or diagnosis will be provided. A non-refundable deposit is required.

How do you work with clients with anxiety?
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients with anxiety identify and challenge negative thought patterns, reduce stress, and build effective coping skills. Combined with medication management when needed, my approach focuses on improving emotional balance and overall well-being.
Hello, I'm Marcy Davis, a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of experience in providing top-notch care to patients. I started my career as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2010, working in various settings such as patient homes, the emergency room, nursing homes, doing research on various medications, and as a college professor at several colleges. In 2017, I started working in psychiatry in various nursing homes, in patient homes, and online. I'm always striving to deliver the best care possible, by treating my patients as if they are my own parents or family members, Sometimes I am the only one that visit and/or really talks to the elderly in the nursing home. I also enjoy teaching and mentoring nursing students, helping them bridge the gap between theory and practice. I am fluent in English and have published research on topics like Major Depressive Disorder and Sickle Cell Anemia. I believe in continuous learning and staying updated with the latest in medical care to provide the best service to my patients. Your health and comfort are my top priorities.
