I provide online therapy for adolescents (13+) and adults in Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolina, and Idaho, as well as nationwide coaching for teens and adults. I commonly work with people navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, chronic illness and pain, grief and loss, suicidal thoughts, burnout, identity-related concerns, life transitions, and other experiences that affect well-being. Therapy can also be a space for personal growth, greater self-understanding, resilience, and strengthening well-being before life reaches a crisis point.
My approach is humanistic, person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and integrative. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, self-compassion, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused interventions, and other evidence-based approaches according to each person’s needs, experiences, strengths, values, preferences, and goals. I also consider the ways mental health can intersect with physical health, relationships, identity, environment, stress, and the body.
My practice is 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodiversity affirming, and committed to respecting each person’s autonomy and lived experience.
My professional background spans psychotherapy, healthcare, community mental health, crisis intervention, hospice, coaching, education, speaking, and integrative mind-body practices. These experiences contribute to the whole-person perspective I bring to my work.
Beyond psychotherapy, I work as an educator, speaker, yoga and meditation teacher, and integrative wellness practitioner. Through Therapy with Z, I offer classes, workshops, professional trainings, speaking engagements, retreats, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, integrative wellness programs, and educational resources. These programs may combine research and theory, practical education, discussion and reflection, experiential practice, movement, and skill building. Many include take-home resources participants can continue using afterward.
