How do you work with clients with anxiety?
I can help clients who are anxious by using a variety of techniques. Psychoeducation and the provision of tools and knowledge regarding anxiety management strategies may be part of this. I can provide advice on coping mechanisms, mindfulness exercises, and stress-reduction techniques. Furthermore, I might work with clients to develop individualized self-help programs that include lifestyle modifications that support mental health. While not a replacement for counseling, these methods can offer helpful assistance and resources for anxiety management.
I have 13 years of experience as a Family and Psychiatric Medical provider in various roles, serving as a private and state mental health hospital attending provider, outpatient provider, and telemedicine provider. As a retired Senior Army Officer with multiple tours of war, I've earned the Bronze Star Medical, along with 22 other medals, and have led entire hospital teams in treating serious mental illnesses from depression to schizophrenia. I am highly recommended as a provider who achieves the best results in treating children, adults, and elderly patients, according to nurses and physician leadership. I prioritize teamwork and tailor patient treatment based on individual needs and preferences, combining this approach with expert clinical knowledge to reach an agreed-upon solution. I treat every patient with utmost respect and care, avoiding the imposition of unwanted medications and allowing patients to choose the treatment they believe will work best for them. Additionally, I offer free 15-minute consults to assess each patient, ensuring a good fit between the patient and myself to meet their needs effectively. I am highly recommended and come with numerous endorsements, fostering an unbiased and non-judgmental environment that creates a lifelong bond between me and my patients.
