I've worked in various roles throughout my life. I started as a performing artist. I grew and learned a lot from that experience -- as I have from all of my roles -- but wanted to explore other interests. That included corporate management and leadership roles for 18+ years and going to graduate school. Ultimately I've landed on my feet in a field that truly fits my skills, my passion and what feels like a calling. I believe my varied background gives me an edge in understanding a lot of different life paths. I offer that to my patients.

I help women and men overcome anxiety, depression, loss, and relational difficulties. I specialize in empowering women by developing their self-worth and confidence through individual therapy, group therapy, and specialized retreats. My approach is an integration of psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral modalities, which means I will explore the way you experienced the world from birth until present in order to identify habits and behaviors that have become roadblocks to living in alignment with the person you want to be. I utilize LifeMaps, a collaborative treatment plan where you can track progress and see your therapy notes. I am a Licensed Psychologist and the CEO of Create Outcomes and have over 20 years of experience helping people of all ages from a variety of backgrounds. I have also supervised other clinicians for over 10 years. I co-host What It Takes To Heal, a podcast that aims to demystify the therapeutic process and details what successful therapy looks like. I've served as a director in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, non-profit organizations, and in juvenile justice programs. The C.R.E.A.T.E. Outcomes model was informed by this work as a way to provide care that is self aware and aligned with the client's values, while also systematically tracking progress.

I am a clinical psychologist who works with high-achieving individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, cross-cultural adjustment, and difficult family histories. I take a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental approach, helping adolescents and adults deepen self-understanding, build meaningful relationships, and move toward a life aligned with their values. I hold a PsyD from Yeshiva University and have extensive training across medical, community, school, and foster care settings. I also supervise doctoral trainees at The Graduate Center, CUNY, and have offered workshops, talks, and leadership contributions through professional organizations. In addition to clinical work, I founded Dr. Vivi Coaching to support international students, and I authored The Power of Being Different, a chapter on navigating graduate school as an international student.

I am a licensed trauma therapist and I provide teletherapy to individuals in New York, Texas, and Maryland. My specialty is developing distress tolerance, or making stress feel less overwhelming. I work with clients aged 5-18, 18+ as individuals and/or families. Stress exists as a necessary part of the human experience. For some, this experience has been more dangerous, disruptive, or overwhelming. In our sessions, I’ll provide the opportunity for you to reconnect with a sense of safety to move into a fuller life. I practice from a combination of therapy models. I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) as the basis for skill building. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy is a guide for regulating the nervous system. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) builds a deeper connection to our authentic goals.
