Why is trauma processing important?
Processing current, or even past traumas, is vitally important. If we do not, we hold onto it for way too long and it can affect every aspect of our lives. If we continue to live in the past with our traumas it is very difficult to live in the here and now to obtain as much joy possible in the current moment.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor holding degrees in Master’s of Education in Counseling, Student Affairs and Master’s of Science in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Commerce.
