What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
A typical session with me is greeting you and accepting you however you choose to present to the session virtually or in person. I open sessions giving you a chance to process highlights/positives since our last session and concerns/stressors. We review homework from the last session and set an agenda of what you would like to make sure we cover in our time together. Each session is focused on helping you make progress towards your goal which will be different for each individual. Ultimately every session has space for clients to share what they want to cover and learn skills/strategies to address needs and concerns.

What do therapy sessions with you look like?
Therapy sessions with me are designed to be warm, welcoming, and collaborative. In the initial session, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship by creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and goals. I conduct a thorough assessment of the client's medical history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments. Together, the client and I discuss expectations for treatment and develop a personalized care plan that may include therapy, medication management, lifestyle changes, and other interventions. Throughout the sessions, I emphasize open communication and active collaboration, ensuring clients feel heard and empowered. I provide education about the client's condition and treatment options, answers any questions, and addresses concerns. My holistic approach integrates both physical and mental health, tailoring care to each individual's unique needs. Clients can expect a compassionate and supportive environment where they are encouraged to take an active role in their health and well-being. My goal is to help clients feel comfortable, understood, and confident in their journey toward healing and growth.
