Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to advocate for mental wellness and provide care to underserved communities. Seeing patients overcome challenges and grow motivates me to continue making a difference in their lives.
I am a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for strengthening mental health across diverse communities and advocating for lifelong learning and growth. I have experience treating a wide range of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, sleep disorders, and substance use disorders. With a background in treating individuals of all ages—children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients—I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, telehealth, and crisis centers. Growing up in the countryside, I understand the value of community and the unique challenges rural areas face in accessing quality healthcare. My upbringing taught me the importance of hard work, empathy, and family—values I bring into my practice every day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring nature through hiking, and staying active to maintain my own mental and physical health. My mission extends beyond the clinical setting. I am committed to connecting with individuals in rural communities and beyond, especially those who face barriers in accessing mental health services. Through the convenience of telehealth, I strive to break down those barriers, offering support to anyone on their path toward mental wellness, regardless of their location. I hope that through my practice, you'll feel the commitment and care I bring to each encounter. Your mental health journey is valued and supported every step of the way as we work together towards healing and growth.

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because of my fascination with human nature and my desire to understand what makes us who we are. Originally, I pursued a Ph.D. in counseling psychology with the intention of becoming a researcher. However, during my training, I discovered the art of therapy and found that I truly enjoyed working one-on-one with individuals. What motivates me to continue as a therapist is seeing the positive changes that clients can experience by learning to live authentically and in line with their values. Witnessing newfound freedom and life satisfaction in my clients is what inspires me to keep practicing psychology and helping others.

Andressa Little

Clinical Therapist

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I know what it means to hold pain quietly while showing up for life anyway. After losing my mother in a tragic car accident, I felt the kind of grief that reshapes everything. She was a strong, nurturing presence in my life—someone who helped others, even in her own struggles. Becoming a therapist felt like a natural way to honor her legacy. What keeps me going is the belief that healing doesn’t always mean fixing—it can also mean understanding, witnessing, and growing through what we carry. When clients share something they’ve never said aloud, when they start seeing themselves with more compassion, or when they take a small but powerful step forward—that’s what fuels me. Every session is a chance to support someone in reclaiming their voice, and that feels deeply meaningful.
Hi, I’m Andressa—a therapist passionate about helping people reconnect with their inner strength and navigate life’s hardest moments with clarity and compassion. I specialize in working with individuals facing anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, grief, and relational struggles—even when there’s no formal diagnosis involved. My approach is warm, direct, and insight-driven. I create a supportive space where you can reflect deeply, experience emotional breakthroughs, and start seeing yourself—and your patterns—more clearly. Clients often tell me they finally feel understood and experience “aha” moments that shift how they relate to themselves and others. As a bilingual, first-generation immigrant, I bring lived experience to the work I do. I understand the complexity of holding multiple identities, navigating transitions, and finding your voice. Whether you're unpacking emotional pain, processing trauma, or simply trying to feel more grounded, I’m here to walk beside you.
