How does motivational interviewing work and how can it help?
Motivational Interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that helps you explore and strengthen your motivation for change. Rather than telling you what to do, I work alongside you to better understand your values, goals, and any obstacles that may be keeping you stuck.
This approach can be especially helpful when you're feeling ambivalent about making changes, whether related to mental health, relationships, stress management, career decisions, or unhealthy patterns. Through open conversation, we identify what matters most to you, build on your strengths, and develop a plan that feels realistic and meaningful. Motivational Interviewing can help increase confidence, improve decision-making, and support lasting, self-directed change.
