How do you work with clients with depression?
When working with clients with depression, I use a holistic and personalized approach. This includes a thorough assessment, psychotherapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. I employ emotionally focused and humanistic therapy techniques, along with coaching methods, to help clients address underlying emotional issues and achieve personal goals. Regular follow-ups and ongoing communication ensure effective progress and adjustment of treatment plans. My goal is to provide comprehensive support to help clients manage their depression and improve their overall well-being.
As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, I completed my graduate degree at Savannah University in Savannah, Georgia. With over six years of experience, I have dedicated my career to treating and caring for patients with ADD and ADHD. My practice also encompasses a wide range of services, including behavioral health, primary care, and internal medicine. I specialize in psychiatry and treat conditions such as ADHD, insomnia, depression, and trauma/PTSD. I am committed to a holistic approach that integrates both body and mind, aiming to provide the best solutions tailored to each patient's treatment goals. Joshua Werblin

MD
Online Therapy
Greetings! I'm Dr. Joshua Werblin, a dedicated psychiatrist with a compassionate approach to care. My practice is a sanctuary for individuals of all ages seeking mental wellness. My journey began at The University of Chicago, where I delved into the fundamentals of society and its utopian ideals. I took a somewhat circuitous path from there, working in different fields for nearly a decade before starting to study for my medical degree (M.D.) at Tulane University School of Medicine. During those ten years, I worked variously as a biophysicist, wooden boatbuilder, IT support, astrophysics technical work, and an Auxiliary NYPD officer in Harlem. I completed a Pediatrics Internship at Tulane University, followed by a narrower focus in General Psychiatry Residency training, also at Tulane. I then received subspecialty fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Seattle Children's Hospital/University of Washington, followed by the acquisition of Addiction Psychiatry sub-specialization some years later. My career has been diverse, including roles as an Inpatient Psychiatrist, Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist, and several Outpatient Psychiatry positions in New York, Florida, and Maryland. More than half of my career has been spent serving the most underserved and marginalized populations, such as youth and women rescued from the sex trade, runaway youth, homeless families, LGBTQIA++ populations, and undocumented immigrants. Since 2019, I've been proudly serving as 'The Feelings Doctor' in my solo virtual practice, offering psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and those facing addiction challenges. My commitment to you is simple: to provide empathetic, individualized, evidence-based care that supports your unique journey toward mental health wellness, whether or not you choose to use medications along the way. Let's work together to navigate life's challenges and embrace the path to healing and fulfillment.
