Going to therapy, even if it isn't your first time around, can bring anxiety. I still remember my first time in therapy, my thoughts racing, and feeling like I was going to do it wrong. That is normal and I want you to know my goal is to make sure you feel comfortable with me before we even go to some of those places that are painful to talk about. I encourage you to check out my website, to get a feel for what I sound like by watching my intro video, and reading my blogs. Also, we can spend 10-15 minutes over the phone for a FREE consultation to ensure we are the right fit and where I am happy to answer any questions you might have.
Are you looking for a trauma or couples therapist? Are struggling with inner child wounds and family of origin woes? Does it impact your romantic relationships, work, and how you show up in the world? Is being a cycle-breaker exhausting and do you need support? As a first gen myself in a biracial marriage, I know not only from my studies but lived experience just how important addressing cultural issues can be in order to make lasting change in our lives. I know how difficult exploring culture and how hard it is to find balance, not wanting to say something is bad or wrong but instead just figuring out how to live a life more inline with our values so that we can live more authentically. I help people with this all over California in online therapy.

It's okay to feel confused about how therapy could help you or the benefit of it. You don't need complete clarity of what you want to get from therapy or what you are experiencing. We can work together to clarify your needs, goals, and ways I can help you. We will work collaboratively at your pace to reach your treatment goals.
Are you experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship, parenting, or family concerns? Let's explore the barriers, challenges, or stressors that impact your ability to succeed together. I will provide knowledge, support and empower you to grow and succeed. I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples. When addressing parenting, couples, or family concerns, the goal is to improve communication, identify barriers that affect the relationship, (re) define connectedness, explore boundaries, and understand oneself within the relationship. My approach to therapy centers around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems. However, I adapt to your unique needs depending on your concerns and treatment goals by taking a flexible and multifaceted approach to your treatment. I will provide you a safe environment to explore emotions and patterns that can help improve your mental health. My professional interest include working with individual, families, and couples across cultural, sexual, and gender identities. Some of the identities that influence my therapy style are being a bilingual Latina woman from immigrant parents who is part of a big family married with a child. I offer treatment in Spanish, English, or Spanglish.
