For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting and may bring up feelings of uncertainty or vulnerability. I want you to know that it’s completely normal to have these hesitations. Therapy is a safe space where you can express your thoughts and feelings without judgment. It’s not about fixing you; it’s about helping you understand yourself better and empowering you to navigate life’s challenges. Taking this step is a sign of strength, and many clients find relief and clarity after just a few sessions. You don’t have to go through this alone — I’m here to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
My professional career has always centered around mental and behavioral health. I have seen and been a part of amazing community efforts to empower the lives of individuals living with a severe and persistent mental illness. Working as part of the assertive community treatment (ACT) team allowed me to step into the homes of adults diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar I, schizoaffective disorder, substance use disorders, and major depressive disorder. I understand how challenging it is in multiple aspects of life, including maintaining relationships and jobs that are vital. I have also worked in inpatient facilities as a psychiatric registered nurse and have a lot of clinical experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner assisting children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder, conduct disorders, mood disorders, and personality disorders. I know the process is challenging for both the parents and children trying to navigate their diagnosis. But we are not our diagnoses. And, it is okay to reach out for help when needed. I feel confident in assisting those across the lifespan in managing medication that can change this narrative. I will conduct a personalized initial intake, take my time to ask your goals, and begin medication that is right for you.

For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Therapy is the best investment of your energy, your time, and your money you can invest because you are investing in the thing nobody can ever take from you, yourself and your mental health. It doesn't mean there is something wrong with you, it means there is something right. It means you have the courage to make the changes you need to be effective and happy as a person and create a better life for yourself. It seems like we create our lives from the outside in but really the opposite is true. Whatever is happening within us will eventually manifest in our outer reality. When we are happy with ourselves, have a positive concept of ourselves, are able to see the things that happen with other people and situations in our lives from a state of reality and I mean a reality that gives people and situations the benefit of the doubt and leans toward positivity, are able to have positive boundaries, and handle situations in an effective way that get's us results in life our outer reality can change. When we see life through a lens of clarity instead of cognitive distortions and false beliefs we can start to manifest the love, the abundance, the things we say we need in life to be happy.

For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I wish I could tell them that therapy isn’t about being "broken" or having all the answers—it’s about having a space where you can be yourself without judgment. It’s okay to be unsure, to not know where to start, or to feel nervous. Therapy is a conversation, not a test. You don’t have to go through life’s challenges alone, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. You deserve a space to heal, grow, and gain tools that make life feel more manageable. Your feelings and experiences matter, and you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about having a safe space to explore, process, and grow. I want you to feel comfortable showing up as you are, knowing that this is a judgment-free zone where we work together to help you feel more in control of your life. I understand how overwhelming anxiety, self-doubt, and big life changes can be, and I also know that you don’t have to navigate them alone. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative—I’ll support you, challenge you when needed, and give you practical tools to help you build confidence, emotional resilience, and a life that feels more like yours. I believe that healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and understood—and my goal is to create that space for you. *Specialties •Mental Health *Conditions treated •Anxiety •PTSD •Relationship issues •Mood disorders •Trauma •Panic attacks •Depression •Life Transitions •Behavioral Issues •Bisexual •Body Positivity •Coping Skills •Family Conflict •Grief •Lesbian •LGBTQ+ •Peer Relationships •School Issues •Self Esteem •Stress •Women's Issues *Treatment philosophy I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and empowered.
