How can teletherapy work? How can you provide care remotely?

How can you provide care remotely?
I provide care remotely via my online telehealth platform. Once we have our free consultation call, you will get a welcome email with all the information to set your own account up on that platform, and on that platform, you'll be able to schedule your sessions as well as login to start our video sessions.

How can you provide care remotely?
All remote sessions are conducted through a HIPAA compliant system, Simple Practice. Remote care expands assess to care to folks who may have traditionally faced obstacles to attending sessions in person. Virtual therapy allows individuals to attend therapy from the comfort of their own safe space without causing too much interruption to their daily routine.
Some of the most powerful things we can do are to truly learn to understand and accept ourselves, practice self-compassion, and move forward in life being as authentic as possible. I work with adolescents and adults who are often exhausted from trying to fit the mold of what others or society expects in regard to their appearance, identity, relationships, education, and/or career. These efforts often leave folks feeling inferior and full of self-doubt. Through collaborative work, I strive for people to feel empowered and capable of fighting back against the inner critic and overcome fears to experience a life that is worth living. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, body dysmorphia, and anxiety. I practice from a Health At Every Size, body neutrality model, and I am a queer and trans affirming therapist. My approach includes CBT, DBT, and the feminist approach. I also offer Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy. Therapy should be a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel unconditionally supported. I recognize that each person is unique with their own needs and goals, celebrating diversity is central to my values. I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help. It takes a lot of courage to take that first step. Be proud of yourself.
