How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?
I utilize a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. My work is rooted in evidence-based methods such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and parts work to help clients process trauma, regulate emotions, and reconnect with themselves.
I understand that trauma affects each person differently, so I tailor my approach to meet individual needs, integrating techniques that promote resilience and healing. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, collaboration, and empowerment, allowing clients to regain a sense of control and move toward meaningful change.
