The most important thing for you to know about me is that I care about supporting my community(s), and I'll care about supporting you. I'll meet you where you're at, and support you in meeting your goals, as long as you're committed to meeting them. I work with groups, couples, families, and individuals ages 13-80. I'm passionate about: * being a resource to individuals, regardless of race, class, or creed. * being a resource to underserved and disenfranchised communities - including BIPOc communities. * Supporting interracial couples, and multi-ethnic families. I have an integrative approach, and love to incorporate the following therapy models/modalities in practice:  * Internal Family Systems  * Emotion Focused Therapy * Narrative Therapy * Motivational Interviewing (Theory of Change) I believe change happens when people are witnessed 3 times: in conflict, in recovery, and in proximity to an ideal version of themself. I believe we move forward after all of the "best and worst parts" of us are seen, and reminded they are capable of being validated, safe, healed, and loved. I support those are ready to navigate change with: * family conflict * phase of life changes  * grief * depression * anxiety * conflict with boundaries * couples and intimacy related issues. * Cross-cultural relationship issues If any of this resonates with you, reach out for a consultation: (213) 973-8278. I’m looking forward to connecting with you!

If you’ve ever felt like your mental health care focused more on managing symptoms than understanding why you feel the way you do, you’re not alone. My approach starts with meeting you where you are, listening closely to your story, and helping you rebuild wellness from the inside out. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with an integrative and functional approach to psychiatry. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD and focus concerns, burnout, sleep difficulties, hormonal or menstrual-related mood changes such as PMDD, and those who may feel frustrated after trying treatments that haven’t fully helped. Rather than rushing to a diagnosis or prescription, I take time to understand the bigger picture. We may explore sleep, nutrition, stress, hormones, metabolic health, nutrient deficiencies, medications, lifestyle, relationships, and other factors that can influence how you feel. When appropriate, treatment may include psychiatric medication, psychotherapy, targeted nutritional or lifestyle strategies, supplements, laboratory evaluation, or a thoughtful combination of approaches. I also have a special interest in helping people who want to better understand their medications, reduce unnecessary medication burden, or explore carefully planned tapering when clinically appropriate. You deserve a space where you can ask questions, understand your options, and participate fully in decisions about your care. My goal is not simply to help you feel “less symptomatic,” but to understand what may be contributing to how you feel and build a treatment plan that makes sense for you and your life.

I am a licensed practicing psychotherapist in California with 20 years of experience providing psychotherapy and consultation services to adults. I believe that life’s most difficult moments are often the catalysts for our greatest growth. My mission is to provide you with a safe, inclusive, and deeply collaborative space to explore the roots of your challenges and discover a more purposeful, fulfilling way of living. I take a holistic approach to healing, focusing on the integration of mind, body, and soul. Understanding that healing is not one-size-fits-all, I draw from specialized modalities—including Jungian Psychology, Depth Psychology, and EMDR—tailoring our work to your unique goals. In treating depression, anxiety, and trauma, our sessions may incorporate dream work, creative arts, talk therapy, and exploring the neurobiology of your attachment patterns and relationships. Together, we will work at your pace to resolve internal conflicts and release limiting patterns. I have the privilege of working with individuals from all spiritual and religious backgrounds, as well as those defining their own personal paths. Experiencing hardship can be an invitation to guide you toward a deeper level of understanding and satisfaction in your career, personal relationships, and physical intimacy. If you are ready to build a stronger sense of self and move toward a life of greater fulfillment, I invite you to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation.
