Therapy sessions with me are collaborative and supportive. In our initial session, we’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and any relevant history to create a personalized treatment plan. Each session typically involves exploring your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, often using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. Together, we'll work on developing coping strategies, enhancing self-awareness, and making progress toward your mental health goals. Full Psychiatric Assessment The initial meeting will be a focus session of 60 - 120 minutes in person or online. The most important thing for us as practitioners is to create a sense of trust between the patient and the practitioner. This trust will enable us to begin a mitigation process by talking with you to identify your pain points, but more importantly, to learn about you first as a human being, not just your “symptoms.” A thorough psychiatric evaluation aims to assess what you are experiencing and develop a treatment plan. We focus on complete psychiatric assessment of children, adolescents, and adults with the following: Anxiety Depression Insomnia Attention/Focus Concerns/Impulsivity Mood Swings Somatic Response to Trauma Obsessed And Compulsive Actions Follow Up Appointments Once you’ve been to our office for the initial visit, we will meet for a follow-up to discuss how you’ve been since your last appointment. When this is done, we will review the good recommendations and those that are not. This might include discussions about medication, lab work, or holistic interventions. Our visits are time-based, and you can choose between 45-minute and 60-minute sessions for your management or more focused 30-minute meetings. This effort is also focused on medication and holistic interventions, and often, those who are using these shorter sessions already have a therapist with whom they are working. Each treatment plan is customized to the individual, but you can expect to visit anywhere from weekly to every 2-3 months. Of course, we will discuss this and agree on what suits you best.

"Although I prescribe psychiatric medications such as antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, and ADHD medications, it does not mean that I believe medications will help everyone or solve all of your problems. After your initial evaluation, I will give you reliable information about whether a medication is likely to help, its potential risks, and the alternative treatments. I may strongly recommend a medication, suggest it as a possible option, or conclude that medication is not likely to help you at all. We will discuss your lifestyle, such as diet, exercise, alcohol/substance use, and stress-management strategies"
