Danielle Berju

Danielle Berju, PMHNP-BC
Online Therapy
Hello! I'm Danielle Berju, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the owner of Healing Tree Holistic Psychiatry. I focus on helping you find the right medications or discontinuing ones that don't work. However, medications are just a part of my approach. I also offer therapy and holistic wellness to help you feel your best. Whether it's anxiety, depression, mood swings, focus issues, or motivation, I'm here to support you. My goal is to make you feel safe, heard, and informed in every treatment decision. I have a Master's in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's from the University of Pittsburgh. I’ve also trained in CBT, DBT, Holistic Nursing, Health Coaching, and Yoga. Before starting my practice, I worked at the Center for Family Guidance and Inspira Health Network for 5 years, handling both outpatient and inpatient care. I have extensive experience in psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Prior to that, I was an RN in various settings, including a crisis response center, addiction medicine, and pediatric behavioral health. Reaching out for help can be tough, but struggling alone is even tougher. Together, we can make it easier and help you feel better. My virtual office is a safe space for everyone, regardless of background. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Please note: As a telehealth-only practice, we do not prescribe controlled medications like stimulants or benzodiazepines due to DEA regulations and our prescribing philosophy. Treatment philosophy: I believe in an integrative approach combining standard practices with holistic treatment. I combine medication, therapy, and holistic wellness to meet each individual's needs. Holistic wellness may include exploring nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, stress management, mindfulness techniques, lab testing, supplements, or other complementary treatments. In terms of medications, I believe that it is just as important to get off medications that are not working as it is to get on medications that can help. Due to telehealth only, DEA regulations, and treatment philosophy, I do NOT prescribe any controlled substances. For example, stimulants (ex: adderall) for ADHD or benzodiazepines (ex: xanax) for anxiety. I still treat these conditions, but using other medications and modalities.

Joshua Werblin

MD
Online Therapy
Greetings! I'm Dr. Joshua Werblin, a dedicated psychiatrist with a compassionate approach to care. My practice is a sanctuary for individuals of all ages seeking mental wellness. My journey began at The University of Chicago, where I delved into the fundamentals of society and its utopian ideals. I took a somewhat circuitous path from there, working in different fields for nearly a decade before starting to study for my medical degree (M.D.) at Tulane University School of Medicine. During those ten years, I worked variously as a biophysicist, wooden boatbuilder, IT support, astrophysics technical work, and an Auxiliary NYPD officer in Harlem. I completed a Pediatrics Internship at Tulane University, followed by a narrower focus in General Psychiatry Residency training, also at Tulane. I then received subspecialty fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Seattle Children's Hospital/University of Washington, followed by the acquisition of Addiction Psychiatry sub-specialization some years later. My career has been diverse, including roles as an Inpatient Psychiatrist, Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist, and several Outpatient Psychiatry positions in New York, Florida, and Maryland. More than half of my career has been spent serving the most underserved and marginalized populations, such as youth and women rescued from the sex trade, runaway youth, homeless families, LGBTQIA++ populations, and undocumented immigrants. Since 2019, I've been proudly serving as 'The Feelings Doctor' in my solo virtual practice, offering psychiatric care for children, adolescents, adults, and those facing addiction challenges. My commitment to you is simple: to provide empathetic, individualized, evidence-based care that supports your unique journey toward mental health wellness, whether or not you choose to use medications along the way. Let's work together to navigate life's challenges and embrace the path to healing and fulfillment.
